Good morning everyone!
I hope you are having a good day, good start to the day or a good night - depends on where you are I guess ;)
We're starting with clear blue skies here, which is nice to see after quite some rain. I however really love the rain and as we don't get nearly enough around here, I cherish the few gray and "miserable" days we get around here!

Actually I just popped by here to tell you about the new Page Mask Pack I just put in my store. 3 large page masks, all on the love/valentines theme! And as usual, they are 20% off until Monday, so make sure to check it out!

That's it from me for today!
As always, happy scrapping!

Just a little sneak peek! Save your pennies to help those in need!

The designers of Scrapbookgraphics, myself included, have joined with many other digiscrap artists to create this beautiful collection called Port-au-Prince which will be sold at Songbird Avenue beginning February 1st. All proceeds from the sale of this awesome collab will go to support Doctors Without Borders‘ efforts in the aftermath of the horrible earthquakes in Haiti.

Good morning everyone!
We've been getting quite the beating from the weather in the last two days, even with tornado warnings for our county all through last night! It did however pass on by, but we had quite strong winds, and of course the torrential downpours for 2 days now. However, now all is quiet for the moment and the rain subsided for the moment, even though we are bracing for more of the same later today!

So, in other news - I have a new kit in the store!
Well, it's less of a kit and more of a collection of papers and elements that might come in useful for your art journaling or altered art projects. There is a bit of a feminine theme to it, hence the name Femme!
As usual it is 20% off as an introductory price!

And here is an art journaling layout that Flor made with the kit! Thanks Flor! Hope you feel much better soon!

I hope you all have a wonderful day and as always,
Happy scrapping!

Two New Products @ Studio Birgit Kerr

Dear Birgit,
as you might know, I decided to join the 1-year-long Art Journaling Caravan by Tangie Baxter this year. It's quite a new thing for me, a direction I haven't explored before and a whole new way to express myself.

Inevitably, this has and will spill into my designing, which I think could be a really good thing! It never hurts to mix thing up a little bit!

I just put two new packs into the store that are designed to help with your journaling.

The Scribbles Pack and the Journaling Word Strips Pack!

The Scribbles Pack is designed to help you underline, highlight or cross out journaling, titles or words, to call particular attention to an area or word or just as a fun embellishment for your pages.
The Word Strips Pack is designed to help you emphasize words in your journaling. The word strips are made up of many different fonts, styles and sizes to add some interest.

As usual, the new pack will be 20% off for the first few days.

I hope you will find some of it useful!

I also have a collection and a new kit in the works, so keep an eye out for that!
Other than that I hope that you had a wonderful start to the New Year/decade and are rearing to go with new projects and ideas!

Hope to "see" you around the digi world! And as always - happy scrapping!

Hi everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful transition into the New Year and this new decade!
For me it was relatively peaceful - I slept through it mostly, but these days, that's a good thing. Sleep is hard to come by at times around here, so a good night's sleep is as good as it gets for the start of a new year!

I have neglected this blog a little. I just never quite know what to say. I guess to those of you who only want to be alerted of new products, that's probably a good thing, for those who like to be a little more involved, I hope you're all on facebook, since I find myself updating things there on a daily basis. If you aren't following me on facebook, but want to, feel free to add me there.

Other than that, I'm happy to announce that I am finally working on a new kit. It's a little different though and it's really challenging me to think outside my usual "kit" box. I hope to have it finished in the next few days though and hope you'll have as much fun creating with it, as I've had making it!

I am also participating in Tangie Baxter's Art Journal Caravan this year. I am equally thrilled about that as I am anxious. I have never done anything like it and I have no clue about art journaling, but I am really looking forward to the opportunity to explore, express, stretch, have fun and well ... do something just for me :) For a whole year!

Here's a look at some of the things I've made for that so far. For a closer look, credits and explanations, please visit my gallery!

First my front cover:

The (for now) completed cover - from left to right - Back, spine, front cover:

And the first actual assignment: Find your word for the year!

That's it from me for now!
I hope you're having a great day/evening/night!
As always, happy scrapping!
